Join us for a farm fun tour of our real working dairy farm as we meet our hardworking cows, taste our farm fresh milk, and enjoy the great outdoors!
Our guided dairy tours are a great hands on learning experience for young students, but the tour can be tailored to any age group!
Tours are available for scheduling May to October. Reservations are required. We accommodate visitors of all ages!
Here's an example of one of our educational dairy tours:
The guided tour includes four stations (takes approximately 1 hour):
The Parlor for a dairy overview, cow lifecycle, dairy breeds, what cows eat, etc.
The Milking Parlor to watch the cows being milked & learn about milk quality
Note: there are no cows being milked between 11:30am-1:00pm
- The Freestall Barn to see where the cows live & how they stay comfy
- The Calf Area to interact with the calves & learn why they live in special houses
About the Tour
The guided tour outlined above, exclusive use of The Parlor facility, outdoor farm-themed playground and indoor Junior Dairyman play area for up to 2 hours.
Includes sampling 3-4 flavors of fresh milk bottled at the farm. The tour will take approximately one hour, then your group will have one hour to eat, play and enjoy the farm.
Tour Add-On Options
Milk with Lunch
Purchase milk for your group's lunch or snack for only 50¢/person. Enjoy fresh Rowdy Cow milk in white, chocolate or flavors (we feature a different one weekly). We'll provide the cups and half gallons of milk in the flavors you choose!
Butter Churning Activity
This hands on butter churning activity allows participants to make butter the old fashion way and then everyone gets a taste. We supply the churns, cream and crackers. Activity takes 15-20 minutes. Cost $1/person
Cow Craft Activity
Make a fun, creative cow craft to take home. Activity takes 15-20 minutes. Cost $1/person
$6.00 per person for everyone over 12 months old
$120.00 group minimum
For school groups, teachers and bus drivers are free. For day camps, one teacher/staff is free with every 10 children. For example, if your group includes 40 children, 4 teachers/staff are free.
$.50/person to serve our milk with your lunch or snack
$1.00/person for butter churning activity
$1.00/person for cow craft activity

The minimum group size is 20 people and maximum size is 100 people.
Bring lunches or snacks to eat after the tour.
